This scheme started on October 15, 2019. Initially, about Rs. 6162.45 crore was shared among 4.5 million farmers. The Central Government contributed Rs. 2525 crore, and the State Government provided the remaining Rs. 3637.45 crore.

Installment of the YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme Released
The YSR Rythu Bharosa 2023–24 was started to financially help farmers. On October 26, 2021, the second part of this scheme was given out. This day also saw the launch of YSR Zero Interest Loan and YSR Yantra Seva Scheme. This scheme has a major benefit: farmers in the state can get loans without any interest (0% interest). Each year, Rs. 13,500 is directly put into farmers’ bank accounts to help them financially. So, over five years, each family gets a total of Rs. 67,500.
Farmers receive 9 hours of free electricity daily. Those without land get an additional Rs. 2500 each year. This breaks down as Rs. 6000 from the Central Government, Rs. 5500 from the Andhra Pradesh State Government, and an extra Rs. 2500 from the YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme, which also provides government insurance.
